Elpis at Festival Fotogenia

I am thrilled to share the news that Elpis (2023) has been chosen as part of the official programme for Festival Fotogenia. This marks the film’s premiere in Mexico, and the festival will be held in seven venues across Mexico City from November 22nd to December 3rd, 2023.

Mexico has always been incredibly supportive of my films and the Experimental Film Society, and I am grateful for their kindness. Presenting my latest feature film alongside old and new friends is an honour.

Elpis was made possible by generous funding from the Arts Council of Ireland and produced by the Experimental Film Society. Recently, it was showcased at DokuBaku, Azerbaijan’s first independent International Documentary Film Festival.

Next, Elpis will be screened at the esteemed 19th edition of the Festival Transterritorial de Cine Underground in multiple cities throughout Argentina from October 4th to 15th. I am also excited to announce upcoming European film festival screenings where I will be present to introduce the film.
