STUDENT JURY AWARD of Flight / Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Genova

I couldn’t be more delighted to announce that my feature film ELPIS (2023) has been awarded a special mention in the “STUDENT JURY” category at the Flight / Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Genova in Italy. This recognition came as a surprise, yet it holds immense, profound value for me personally.

I have devoted the last few years to teaching experimental filmmaking, formally training a new generation of future filmmakers. Hence, receiving an award from an esteemed jury of students marks a true validation of my commitment.

For that, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to the Flight team and staff for showcasing Elpis and for taking notice of the fruits of my labour. And, of course, to the jury for this invaluable acknowledgement— simply priceless. Thank you so much for all your support.
