1. About these Terms

1.1. This website, https://rouzbehrashidi.com/, is run by the filmmaker Rouzbeh Rashidi (“I”, “me”, “my”). Through it, I sell digital copies of my films and editions of my work (each a “Work”).

1.2. These Terms are the agreement between you (“you”, “your”) and me for every purchase made through the website. You accept them when you place an order. Nothing needs to be signed or returned.

1.4. My Privacy Policy explains how I handle personal information. Read it alongside these Terms.

1.5. I may revise these Terms from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.

1.6. By purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and authorised to use the payment method you provide.

2. What you are buying

2.1. Every Work sold here is a digital video file, or a set of files, delivered by download.

2.2. When you buy a Work, you receive a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to download it and watch it privately. You do not acquire ownership of the film or of its copyright. Nor do you acquire any right to copy, share, upload, broadcast, resell or screen it publicly.

2.3. Public, festival, educational and institutional screening rights are not included. They are available by separate arrangement: write to rouzbehrashidi@gmail.com.

3. Prices and payment

3.1. Prices are in euro (EUR) and include any applicable taxes. Some films are offered on a pay-what-you-wish basis above a stated minimum. Editions are sold at a fixed price.

3.2. Payment is taken at checkout through the methods shown there. These currently include card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link (processed by Stripe), PayPal, and Klarna. Klarna’s own terms govern any instalment arrangement.

3.3. Card details go directly to the payment provider. They are never seen or stored by this website.

3.4. Changes to published prices apply to future orders only.

3.5. If you believe a charge is wrong, please write to me before raising a dispute with your payment provider. Almost every issue can be resolved directly and quickly.

4. How the contract is formed

4.1. When you complete checkout, you make an offer to buy the selected Work. The contract is concluded when payment succeeds and your order is confirmed on screen and by email.

4.2. If an order cannot be fulfilled, for example because of an obvious pricing error or a failed payment, I will tell you and refund any payment in full.

5. Delivery

5.1. Your download link appears on the order confirmation page and in your confirmation email, normally straight after payment.

5.2. For security, each download link is valid for a limited time. Please download your file promptly and keep your own copy.

5.3. If a link has expired or does not work, write to me and it will be reissued.

6. Your right to cancel

6.1. As a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason.

6.2. For digital content, that right ends once the download begins, but only if, at checkout, you ticked the box asking for immediate access and acknowledging that you would lose the right to cancel. Your order confirmation email records that choice. If you did not, you keep the full 14 days.

6.3. To cancel within the period, write to rouzbehrashidi@gmail.com with your name and order number. Any refund is made to the original payment method within 14 days.

6.4. Your statutory rights are unaffected in every case. If a file is faulty, incomplete or not as described, it will be replaced. If replacement is not possible, you will be refunded.

7. Intellectual property

7.1. All films, texts, images and designs on this website are the copyright of Rouzbeh Rashidi, unless otherwise stated.

7.2. They may not be copied, redistributed, uploaded or exploited in any form without my written permission.

8. Liability

8.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

8.2. Subject to that, my total liability for any purchase is limited to the price you paid for it.

9. Governing law and disputes

9.1. These Terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

9.2. If something goes wrong, please write to me first. Most matters are settled within days.
